Welcome to the Dizzy Pig Brewing Site.
First and foremost, we would like to make it clear that we are not a commercial brewery or even a micro brewery. We don't sell anything on line, we just like to create excellent craft beers and ciders and then drink them.
We share our creations with friends and family in the "Dizzy Pig", which is our very own pub. Strangely enough, since we've been brewing, we seemed to have made quite a few friends and look forward to meeting many more!
Dizzy Pig Brewing is a part of Pool Cottage, a Smallholding located in the heart of North Shropshire, England run by us; Ruth and Andy Williams, we've been here since 1996. Our aim is to enjoy where we live, what we grow and what we produce in an environmentally sensible yet pragmatic way and this ethos extends to our latest adventure, Dizzy Pig Brewing.
The aim of dizzypigbrewing.com is really to inform the planet about what we're up to with Dizzy Pig and hopefully inspire others to enjoy life whilst there's time. For us, this desire to enjoy life now, really came home to roost early in 2014 when Andy was seriously ill and it was touch and go as to whether he would be drinking his next pint in the after life. However, he made an almost full recovery and he and Ruth are doing their utmost to ensure they are "Living the Dream".
We have beer, cider, wine, the odd spirit and the finest home produced food, hell that's living the dream alright.
